About us Our supporters Our supporters We are grateful to all of our supporters for helping us to continue listening to patients and speaking up for change. The Patients Association is a registered charity. We offer support and advice to patients and their families, along with opportunities to share their experiences of health and social care services. Using this knowledge, we work with the NHS and other healthcare providers to apply pressure and improve services. Our work is supported by individual membership subscriptions and donations, by grant-giving charitable trusts and foundations, and by organisations and groups through corporate membership, corporate donations and collaborative projects with NHS Trusts, universities and others. The Patients Association does not receive core funding from The Department of Health or any other government body.
