Expanding access and improving experiences; the future of diagnostic testing for patients

In January 2024, we published the report, Patient Experience of Diagnostics.

The report's findings showed that patients view diagnostics as a fundamental part of the NHS and one that should be prioritised over the coming years. This webinar explored the findings and considered the report's recommendations.

The panel was:
Professor Sir Mike Richards, the first National Cancer Director at the Department of Health, led a review of diagnostic services, which was published in 2020, and is working with NHS England to help implement his report

Dr Ashton Harper, Head of Medical Affairs at Roche Diagnostics Ltd.

We are grateful to Roche Diagnostics UK and Ireland for funding this project. Analysis of the survey data and development of the report and the recommendations were done by the Patients Association, without influence from Roche Diagnostics.
