Mobilising the system to tackle health inequalities

Professor Bola Owolabi, Director of the National Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Programme at NHS England, joined us on Monday 25th September to kick off Patient Partnership Week 2023.

Prof Owolabi, who also works as a GP in the Midlands, discussed with Rachel Power, Chief Executive of the Patients Association, Core20PLUS5, the need for stories from patients with lived experience, and examples of communities tackling health inequalities.
