Patients Champion Team Leader

Caroline joined the Patients Association in May 2011 and is heading up the Complaints Support Service.  As Patient Champion Team Leader, Caroline is working alongside a team of volunteers who provide support for patients, relatives and carers who have put in a complaint at Stafford Hospital.  The team is also responsible for scrutinising the complaints handling process at the Trust. 

Caroline has many years of experience in a number of challenging senior positions within nursing and healthcare.  She spent several years working for the NHS before transferring to the private sector. Working for Nuffield Health, Caroline was Head of Clinical Services at the Derby Hospital for 10 years before taking up a more strategic role within the company.

Caroline is enthusiastic about playing a part in this very important project making sure that the complainants’ voice is heard.
