Our current survey, Understanding Patient Experience During COVID-19, asks patients with long term conditions to tell us how the pandemic has affected their regular care and treatment.

We want to know what’s been happening to you so we can work with healthcare providers like hospitals and GPs, to ensure that patients who are not directly affected by COVID-19 are still getting the medical attention they need.

We know outpatient appointments and operations have been delayed, and cancer patients have had treatment delayed. But we want to know what that means to individual patients like you. Or maybe you support someone with a long-health condition or a disability – how has the lockdown affected you and your ability to care for your loved one?

The survey only takes about 15 minutes to complete. With the answers, we can champion patients’ needs and rights. We want to ensure any changes introduced to deal with the emergency, which have resulted in health services being withdrawn, last only as long as is needed to protect the NHS.
