Become a Supporter today!
The Patients Association is an independent organisation and receives no Government funding. We take thousands of calls through our helpline each year, but we can't answer all the calls we receive. With your support we could answer more calls, helping more patients and family members.
In order for us to continue 'Listening to Patients, Speaking up for Change', we need your support.
What does being a supporter involve?
As a supporteryou will be making a vital contribution towards the work of The Patients Association. To say thank you for the help you give:
- Members are invited regularly to contribute their views and experiences through our surveys.
- You will receive a copy of our annual Patient Voice magazine which contains the latest news and opinion on the health and care related issues, as well as reviews of how The Patients Association has been speaking up for change.
- Free copies of our research publications available on request.
To become a full member you need to give either a one off payment of £20 or £2 a month for a year (£24 over 12 months) to the Patients Association.
You can do this by giving just £2 a month (or as much as you feel able to above that) by Direct Debit or by giving a one off donation which entitles you to one year's membership. You can do both here.
Alternatively make a donation by writing to:

If you are a UK taxpayer you can help us to take advantage of the Government's Gift Aid scheme, enabling The Patients Association to claim back 25p for every £1 you donate. If everyone who was able to Gift Aid their donations did so, we would have enough extra funds to support one more research project every year. Please indicate when you donate to, or join the organsiation, if you want to Gift aid your contribution. Find out more about Gift Aid.
