AGM 2007

12/09/2007 - 12/09/2007

The Patients Association held our AGM on 12th September 2007 at the Salvation Army Hall, Oxford Street with attendees from our individual members, staff and trustees. The meeting approved previous minutes and heard from the Chairman and Treasurer of the Association as well as confirming our new Trustees.

The formal business of the AGM was followed by two short presentations. The first from new Trustee Dr Martin Johnson discussed the new GP contract and its implications for both doctors and patients, gave a valuable insight into a currently high profile healthcare debate.

This was followed by a presentation by ResearchIntern, Isabelle Goncalves who has been working on a comparative study of European healthcare systems. This report will shortly be available on this site and provides a fascinating comparison of healthcare systems in France, Spain, the Netherlands and the UK.

The annual report presented at the meeting is available to download below
