Isabelle Goncalves

Research Associate

 

 

Joining us from France in 2007 Isabelle is a member of the Patients Association research team. As a Social Psychologist, she is specialised in both qualitative and quantitative research. Her role involves the design of questionnaires and sampling strategies, statistical analysis as well as the preparation and conducting of focus groups and in-depth interviews.

 

Isabelle’s first research piece within the Patients Association was to undertake a comparative research project, aimed at comparing the NHS with three different European healthcare systems (Dutch, French and Spanish systems). Since then Isabelle has worked on a wide range of research themes including dentistry, patients’ rights, infection control and NHS general organisation.

 

After completing her Degree and Masters at the University of Paris X - Nanterre in Social Psychology, Isabelle is now enriching her academic profile by undertaking a PhD in the same field.
