Research & Helpline Coordinator
Added: 30.03.08
Deadline: 29.06.08
A rare opportunity has arisen in our busy Helpline for an experienced, creative, forward thinking, dynamic individual.
Experience of running a Helpline, managing a team of volunteers and an ability to respond to complex healthcare enquires will be essential. You will work autonomously within a small team and be willing to work flexibly within the whole organisation.
With excellent communication skills you will work effectively as an educator and adviser to patients, healthcare professionals and the public. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a sound knowledge of the health service.
The role will involve providing regular information on health experiences across the county and identifying research areas based on the enquiries we receive. Based on this information you will skilfully contribute to the overall policy priorities of the organisation, working closely with other members of staff.
This is initially a part time post for 25 hours a week and would ideally suit someone with previous healthcare experience in a management or nursing position.
